1. Introduction

TryCuebird ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our desktop application and website at trycuebird.com.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your name and email address for authentication purposes.

Resume Data: If you upload a resume, it is stored locally on your device only. We do not store your resume on our servers.

Audio Data: TryCuebird captures meeting audio in real-time for transcription. Audio is never recorded, stored, or saved on our servers — it is streamed to our transcription service and discarded immediately after processing.

Session Data, Transcripts, and AI Answers: We store session metadata (role, company, duration, status) so you can review your past sessions, along with the transcript text and AI-generated answers from your session so you can revisit and download them from your History page. Transcripts and AI-generated answers are tied to your account only — they are not shared, not used to train models, and not accessible to anyone else.

Payment Information: Payment processing is handled by secure third-party providers. We do not store your credit card details.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and maintain the TryCuebird service
  • Authenticate your account and manage your subscription
  • Generate AI-powered answers tailored to your resume and role context
  • Process payments and manage your plan
  • Send important service updates (no marketing emails)

4. Data Storage and Security

Your settings, resume text, and preferences are stored locally on your device. Account data is stored securely in our database with encryption at rest. We use HTTPS for all data transmission. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties.

5. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services for authentication, payment processing, transcription, and analytics. These services have their own privacy policies. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function. Audio is streamed to our transcription provider and discarded after processing; transcript text is returned to us and stored in your account for review.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your account information
  • Delete your account and associated data by contacting support
  • Opt out of analytics tracking
  • Request a copy of your data

7. Cookies

We use a single HttpOnly authentication cookie to maintain your session. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on our website.
